Annie

Annie was owned by tourists that travelled in to Grenada on a yacht.

Perhaps they didn't know that there are travel restrictions which affect dogs travelling between Islands in the Caribbean. Perhaps she was sick and they didn't have the time to find a vet, but rather than find a way to take her with them, they just left her on a beach.

A surprisingly large number of dogs are abandoned on beaches every year by people on yachts - maybe they assume that someone will take them in, but the reality is that having been used to being fed and cared for, the majority either starve or get run over.

Margaret found Annie, sick and starving and took Annie to the Veterinary College and spent much time and money for her to be nursed back to health. She now share's a kennel with Snowy who she adores.
