Alexander’s mother was owned by someone else in Grenada. She'd had several litters of puppies all of whom died before they reached adulthood.

Margaret took Alexander on and although he was sick often and needed a LOT of care as a puppy but he's now known as Alexander The Great (he's a big guy!).
